These terms explain how Learn Portugal sells and delivers digital products and online learning resources through this website. By purchasing, downloading, or accessing a Learn Portugal product, you agree to the terms on this page.

Digital products and pricing

Learn Portugal sells digital products and online learning resources, which may include downloads, worksheet packs, guides, audio resources, companion tools, courses, memberships, or other digital materials. Product descriptions, prices, currencies, billing terms, and any applicable renewal details are shown on the relevant product page or at checkout before payment is completed.

Unless a product page or checkout screen clearly says otherwise, purchases are one-time digital purchases and do not create a recurring subscription or membership. Applicable taxes may be added by the checkout provider where required by law.

Checkout and payment processing

Checkout is provided by Lemon Squeezy, which may act as the merchant of record or authorized reseller for purchases made through its checkout. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, tax calculation where applicable, receipts, invoices, and related buyer checkout terms. Your purchase may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy’s Buyer Terms.

Delivery and access

Digital products are delivered or made available after checkout using the email address entered during purchase, account access, download links, or another delivery method described at checkout. Please make sure the email address entered at checkout is correct. If your receipt, access details, or download details do not arrive, check spam, junk, or promotions folders first and then contact us for support.

Personal-use licence

Purchases from Learn Portugal are licensed for personal or household educational use unless a separate licence is explicitly offered in writing. You may not resell, redistribute, upload, share, sublicense, publicly post, or claim Learn Portugal digital products as your own work.

Educational use only

Learn Portugal products are provided for general educational and informational use. They are not professional, legal, immigration, medical, therapeutic, or academic accreditation advice. We do not guarantee any specific learning result, exam outcome, school result, language proficiency level, or business result from using our products.

Refunds and billing issues

Because digital products may be delivered or accessed immediately, all normal digital-product purchases are final once access, download links, files, or account access have been provided. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds after digital access has been granted.

We may make exceptions where required by law or where there is a clear billing or delivery problem, such as a duplicate charge, accidental overcharge, failed delivery that cannot be corrected, or a product that is materially different from its description. Refund requests, duplicate charges, failed delivery, or billing questions should be sent through the contact form. Lemon Squeezy may also handle refunds, disputes, or chargebacks according to its buyer and payment policies.

Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. For customers in places with statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights, including the UK and European Union, those rights will apply where required by law. Where immediate access to digital content is provided, your cancellation rights may depend on the consent and acknowledgement requested at checkout.

Subscriptions and renewals

If Learn Portugal offers a subscription, membership, or recurring digital service, the renewal period, renewal price, cancellation method, and any trial terms will be shown before checkout. You can cancel future renewals using the account or billing tools provided by the checkout provider, or by contacting us for help.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep this website and our digital products available, accurate, and useful, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free files, compatibility with every device or software setup, or that every product will remain available indefinitely. We may update, replace, correct, suspend, or discontinue products or website features where needed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learn Portugal and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or other similar losses arising from your use of this website or our digital products.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchased product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so these limits apply only where legally permitted.

Website and third-party services

This website may link to third-party services used for checkout, email, or social media. Those services may apply their own terms and privacy policies in addition to Learn Portugal’s terms.

Applicable law

Learn Portugal is operated from Canada. These terms are intended to apply to customers in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other locations where our products are available. If local consumer protection laws give you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights continue to apply.
